Namibia's National Parks

One of the best places in Africa to see wildlife is Namibia. Namibia’s designated National Parks and Game Reserves occupy about 18% of the country. Nature reserves and private concession areas are not included in that. We are happy to say that Namibia is home to some of the world’s most remarkable conservation regions.

Overview of National Parks

Namibia has a distinguished and globally acknowledged conservation history. Conservation on freehold and community land outside parks and reserves contributes to this reputation. The foundation of it is the nation’s dedication to preserving biological diversity, or biodiversity, through the creation and upkeep of Protected Areas (PAs).
